Crystal P. Hollingsworth-Clark
Crystal P. Hollingsworth-Clark, 12, died Saturday, June 17, 2000, at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 22, 2000, at United Pentecostal Church, 2116 Coliseum Blvd., with the Rev. Glenn Eliseo officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Crystal was a student at Northwest Middle School and was a Girl Scout with Troop 1179. She was a student at the Greensboro Black Belt Academy. She loved life to the fullest and never met a stranger. She had a great love for horses and spent many hours riding and caring for them and other animals. Her beloved dog, Dominique, was her close companion.
Crystal is survived by her mom and dad, David Clark and Naomi Hollingsworth-Clark of Greensboro; her biological father, Charles A. Hollingsworth of Greensboro; grandparents, Ed and June Clark of Melbourne, Fla., Audrey and Donald Thomas of Hugo; and many aunts, uncles and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2000, at Fobis & Dick Guilford Chapel, West Friendly Ave., Greensboro.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ronald McDonald House, 101 Old Mason Farm Road, Chapel Hill, N.C. 27514 or Guilford County Animal Shelter, 4525 West Wendover Ave., Greensboro, N.C. 27409.
