Hollingsworth Ancestry Header
Hollingsworth Ancestry Header Images, honoring famous Hollingsworths from across the globe, both past and present:
-
This image is a photo of a 1674 document bearing the signature of Valentine Hollingsworth, the ancestor of a large majority of Hollingsworths in North America. It was discovered within the collection of the Public Records of Northern Ireland (PRONI) by John Hollingsworth during a 2005 trip to Northern Ireland. The seal next to Valentine's signature bears a striking resemblance to the Hollingsworth Durham Crest, but John was never able to discover any official documentation on it. Speculation is that it may have been an unregistered "coa", seals used but not registered to avoid paying the associated fee. We are grateful to John for his permission to use the image in our header.
-
The second image is of Austrailian Peter John Hollingworth, who served as the Anglican Bishop of Brisbane from 1989 to 2001. Engaged in social work for several decades, he was honored in 1991 as the Austrailian of the Year. He served as the 23rd Governor-General of Austrailia, the representative of Queen Elizabeth to the Austailian Government, from 2001 until 2003.
-
The next image is of Candian Ben Hollingsworth, an actor who has appeared in a number of TV shows and movies. His most recent roles were on the CW series Cult and Beautiful Life, along with movies "The Jonses" and "A Flesh Offerring". He has also appeared in numerous stage productions.

Ellery has been competing at the the pro leel since 2009 and has placed near the top in several major snowboarding events, both national and international, since then.
